Make Night and Indoor Areas Look Warm with CRShaders

Many shaders make nights pitch-black and caves gloomy. CRShaders uses custom ambient lighting that keeps nighttime scenes and shaded areas warm and gentle, so the storybook mood carries on after sunset.

2. Look around open terrain. Shaded areas keep a soft, warm tone instead of fading into flat darkness.

3. If it still feels too dark to play comfortably, raise the vanilla Brightness slider in Options > Video Settings. The warm ambient tone stays, but you see more detail.

4. Place torches, lanterns or other light sources along paths. They add pools of light that fit the gentle night palette.

Building cozy interiors

Inside your builds, the warm ambient lighting gives rooms a welcoming, hand-drawn feel.

• Leave windows or doorways open so daylight spills in and mixes with the shaded interior.
• Use a few light sources rather than flooding the room. Some shadow in the corners shows off the soft lighting.
• Overhangs, porches and covered walkways are good spots to see the gentle shading the pack gives to areas out of direct light.
