Adjust Outline Color and Intensity
Access Shader Settings
Open your shader options menu while in-game. Look for the shader pack settings—this is typically found in Video Settings > Shaders > Shader Options, or by pressing a designated key (often Shift+O or similar, depending on your loader).
Customize Outline Properties
Locate the outline or edge detection settings. You'll find sliders and toggles for:
- Outline thickness: Control how bold or subtle the colored edges appear around blocks
- Color saturation: Adjust how vibrant the outline colors are
- Outline intensity: Make outlines more or less prominent against your world
Experiment with these values in small increments. Changes apply in real-time, so you can see results immediately as you adjust.
Fine-Tune for Your Preference
If outlines feel too harsh, reduce intensity or thickness. If they're barely visible, increase these values. Some players prefer softer, more muted outlines for a gentler cartoon style, while others want bold, striking edges.
Save your settings when satisfied. Your preferences persist across sessions.
