Control How Vivid Your World Looks with ColorFul Optimized

ColorFul Optimized boosts the saturation and tones of every vanilla block. Some players love the punchy look. Others want to compare it with vanilla or tweak how strong it feels.

Compare the pack against vanilla

1. Build or find a test spot with grass, leaves, water, sand and stone together.

2. Take a screenshot with F2 while the shaders are on.

3. Open Options → Video Settings → Shader Packs, turn shaders off, and take another screenshot from the same spot.

4. Compare the two. This shows exactly how much the pack is changing colors and lighting in your world.

If your loader has a shader toggle key, check Options → Controls for it. Using it lets you flip back and forth quickly without opening menus.

Fine-tune the look

  • Pack settings: In the Shader Packs menu, check whether ColorFul Optimized has its own options screen. If it does, change one option at a time, apply, and look at your test spot again.
  • Resource packs: The pack refreshes the classic vanilla style, so it suits vanilla-style textures. Very colorful texture packs combined with the extra saturation can look over the top. Try your texture pack with and without the shader.
  • Brightness: The vanilla Brightness slider changes how vivid colors appear, especially in shade.

Once you're happy, go back to normal play. The pack's look should stay consistent across biomes.
