Disable or Enable the Camera Weave Effect
Locate Camera Weave Settings
Open your Shader Options menu and search for camera-related toggles or motion effect sliders. The camera weave is CinderFrame's handheld video simulation—a subtle side-to-side and vertical drift that mimics a shaky recording device.
When to Disable
If you experience motion sickness, nausea, or find the constant movement distracting during extended play sessions, disable the weave entirely. This removes the found-footage effect but keeps all other visual features: film grain, dither, violet shadows, and lighting details.
When to Enable
For maximum horror immersion, especially in horror maps or roleplay scenarios, keep the weave active. It's most effective at lower frame rates (where it feels more authentic) and in first-person exploration of dark, confined spaces.
Fine-Tuning
If the default weave intensity feels too strong, look for intensity or frequency sliders to reduce the effect without disabling it completely. This gives you a subtle camera drift that enhances atmosphere without overwhelming gameplay.
