Verify the Mod Is Working Correctly

Check Visual Indicators

When Chunk Tweaks Shaders is active and working, you'll notice chunks don't appear instantly at the edge of your view. Instead, they fade in smoothly over a short time. This is most obvious when flying or moving quickly.

Test in Different Scenarios

In creative mode: Fly rapidly in one direction and watch how terrain loads. Chunks should fade in rather than pop.

While traveling: Run or ride a horse across your world. The transition between loaded and unloaded chunks should feel seamless.

At render distance boundaries: Look toward the edge of your view distance. You should see smooth fog blending rather than a sharp line where blocks appear.

Confirm Shader is Enabled

If chunks still pop in suddenly, check that the shader is actually enabled in your Video Settings. Some modpacks or configurations may have it disabled by default.

If the mod isn't working, verify it's installed correctly and that your graphics driver supports shader modifications. The effect should be immediately noticeable once active.
