Adjust Chunk Fade Animation Speed

Access Shader Settings

Chunk Tweaks Shaders provides configuration options to control how quickly chunks fade in as they load. Open your shader options menu (usually accessible through Video Settings in the pause menu, then Shaders).

Find Animation Speed Controls

Look for settings related to fade duration or animation speed. These controls let you make chunks appear more gradually or snap into view faster depending on your preference.

Slower animations create a smoother, more cinematic feel as terrain loads around you. Faster animations reduce the visual effect and let chunks load more immediately.

Apply Your Changes

Adjust the slider or value to your liking, then confirm the changes. The effect applies immediately as new chunks enter your view distance. If you're flying or moving quickly through your world, you'll notice the difference right away.

Experiment with different speeds to find what feels natural for your playstyle. Some players prefer subtle fading, while others like more pronounced transitions.
