Troubleshoot Visual Glitches or Unexpected Colors

Color Looks Wrong

If specific blocks appear in unexpected colors, this is likely the 256-color palette remapping them to the closest available retro color. This is normal behavior, not a bug. Different lighting conditions may make the remapping more or less noticeable.

Pixelation Looks Uneven

Uneven pixelation across your screen usually means your shader options didn't save properly. Reopen Shader Options, verify your pixelation setting, and confirm the change. Some settings require reloading the world to take full effect.

Extreme Lag or Flickering

If performance suddenly drops or the screen flickers, your GPU may be overheating or struggling. Lower pixelation intensity, disable any optional shader features, and check your GPU temperature. Restart the game if issues persist.

Resetting to Defaults

If visuals seem broken, look for a "Reset Shader" or "Load Defaults" button in Shader Options to restore the original configuration.
