Customize How Sunlight and Shadows Appear in Different Biomes
Explore Biome-Specific Lighting
Boxeh Shaders applies different lighting profiles to various biomes. Visit several biomes—desert, forest, ocean, mountain—and observe how sunlight color and shadow intensity change. This is intentional and reflects realistic atmospheric differences.
Adjust Global Shadow Settings
In shader options, look for shadow color, shadow softness, or ambient light controls. These affect how shadows appear across all biomes. Warmer shadow tones suit deserts; cooler tones suit snowy areas.
Fine-Tune Per-Biome (If Available)
Some shader configurations allow biome-specific tweaks. Check advanced settings for biome overrides. If your version supports this, you can brighten forests or deepen shadows in caves independently.
Test Time of Day
Visit the same biome at sunrise, noon, and sunset. The shader's day-night cycle affects how biome lighting feels. Adjust overall brightness or color temperature if certain times feel unbalanced across biomes.
