Adjust Shadow Darkness and Contrast

Finding Shadow Settings

BloxShade Shaders modifies how shadows fall across your world. To customize shadow intensity, access the shader configuration screen. In-game, look for the shader options menu—this is typically found in your graphics settings or through a dedicated shader menu button.

Tuning Shadow Appearance

Once in the shader settings, locate shadow-related sliders. BloxShade provides controls for shadow darkness and the contrast between lit and shadowed areas. Increase shadow darkness to make shaded regions more pronounced, or decrease it for softer, more subtle shadows.

Adjust contrast settings to control how sharply shadows transition from light to dark. Higher contrast creates defined edges; lower values produce gentler gradients.

Testing Your Changes

After adjusting, move around your world to see how shadows fall on blocks at different times of day. Pay attention to how shadows look on vertical surfaces like walls and on the ground. If the effect feels too strong, dial back the intensity. Reapply settings and test again until you achieve your preferred look.
