Design a Seaside Build That Shows Off Banana Shaders' Water and Lighting
Banana Shaders makes water surfaces calmer with subtle reflections. It also brings bright, fantasy daytime lighting to every biome. A coastal build is the perfect stage for both effects.
Choose and Plan the Site
1. Find open water. A beach, an ocean edge or a wide lake works best. Calm reflections read clearly on large, flat stretches of water, not narrow channels.
2. Face the sunset. If possible, build so the main view looks west across the water. The pack's warm sunset tones will then sit right behind the sea's reflections.
3. Keep sightlines open. Leave a clear path from your windows, balcony or dock out to the horizon. Avoid walls or heavy foliage along the shoreline.
Build to Catch the Light
- Docks and piers: extend walkways out over the water. They give you viewpoints that look straight down at the reflective surface.
- Low waterfront walls: keep shore structures low so the water stays visible from inside your base.
- Open rooftops or terraces: these are great spots to enjoy the bright daytime lighting and the softened clouds overhead.
Test It
Walk through your build at midday, then again at sunset. Daytime shows off the bright fantasy lighting. Evening brings out the warm sky tones over the calm water. If a spot looks flat at both times, open up the view or move the viewpoint closer to the water's edge.
