Capture Warm Sunsets and Soft Clouds for Screenshots
Two of Banana Shaders' best features are the warm, gentle sky tones at sunset and the softened clouds. Here's how to line up a clean shot of both.
Set the Scene
1. Pick a spot with an open horizon. The sun sets in the west, so face west from a hilltop, a tall build or an ocean shore. Avoid spots where trees or mountains block the low sun.
2. Clear the weather. Rain hides the sky. In a world with cheats on, use /weather clear.
3. **Get to evening. The warm tones build as it gets low.
4. Hold the moment (optional). To freeze the sky while you frame the shot, use the vanilla gamerule that stops the daylight cycle. Turn the gamerule back on afterward.
Take the Shot
- Press F1 to hide the HUD and hand.
- Lower the camera slightly so the soft clouds fill the upper part of the frame.
- If water is in view, include it. Banana Shaders gives the sea calm, subtle reflections that pair well with an orange sky.
- Press F2 to save a screenshot to your
screenshotsfolder.
Try a few shots across the whole sunset. The colors shift as the sun sinks, and the warmest moment is easy to miss.
