Using Night Vision to Navigate Dark Caves

With Authentic Night Vision Shaders active, you can explore deep cave systems without placing torches, which saves resources and keeps your inventory clear.

Step 1: Enable the shader

Make sure the shader is active in your graphics settings before entering a cave.

Step 2: Enter the cave

Descend into any dark cave system. Your screen will automatically shift to the characteristic green glow, illuminating all blocks and passages clearly.

Step 3: Navigate freely

Move through the cave without needing to place torches. The shader brightens shadows that would normally hide details, making it easy to spot ore veins, water, and lava from a distance.

Why This Works

The shader replicates how real night vision equipment works by amplifying available light and shifting the color spectrum to green. This means even in complete darkness, your vision remains clear. Monsters are also more visible since they can no longer hide effectively in shadows, giving you a safety advantage when caving alone.
