Take Screenshots That Show Off Bright Outdoor Landscapes
A Sluggy Hike Shaders is at its best outdoors. It lights up landscapes with bright, clear colour tones and gives everything a clean, stylized style. Here is how to capture that in a good screenshot.
Set up the scene
1. Pick daytime. The bright outdoor colours stand out most in daylight. If cheats are on, use /time set day. Otherwise, sleep through the night.
2. **Clear the weather.
3. Find open terrain. Plains, mountain tops, coastlines and flower forests give the stylized look plenty of space.
4. Raise Render Distance temporarily in Video Settings so distant hills show up. Lower it again afterwards if your PC struggles.
5. Adjust Field of View in Options. A wider view suits sweeping landscapes, and a narrower one suits close-up builds.
Take the shot
1. Press F1 to hide the HUD and your hand.
2. Press F2 to save a screenshot.
3. Press F1 again to bring the HUD back.
4. Find your images in the screenshots folder inside your Minecraft directory.
For a before-and-after comparison, take one shot with the pack on. Then switch shaders off in the shader menu and take a second shot from the exact same spot. Put the two side by side to see how the pack changes the colours and style of the scene.
