Pick the Viking Look That Suits Your Character

Each armor tier in Viking Armory has a different visual identity. You can plan your progression around the look you want as well as the protection each tier gives.

What each tier looks like

  • Leather: A grounded, accurate look built for practical wilderness survival. It suits hunters, scouts and early-game explorers.
  • Chainmail: Realistic metal link texturing for a classic mail-shirt warrior.
  • Iron: Lamellar armor with a northern helmet and side chainmail. This is the standard Norse fighter.
  • Copper: The same lamellar design as iron, but corroded and rusted. It suits a battle-worn veteran or a raider who has been at sea too long.
  • Gold: Ceremonial ritual wear. Use it for a chieftain, priest or a character dressed for a feast.
  • Diamond: Full scale armor with mail covering the face and draping over the chest. This is the heaviest, most armored look.
  • Netherite: A fierce warrior outfit inspired by fantasy raiders, for an endgame berserker.

Mixing pieces

The pack changes each piece of a set, so you can mix tiers for a custom outfit. For example, pair an iron helmet's side chainmail with a leather chestplate for a lighter scout look. Press F5 to check the combination in third person. You can also use an armor stand as a mannequin to preview outfits before you commit.
