Build an Armor Stand Gallery of Every Viking Tier
Viking Armory gives every armor tier its own Norse look, so a row of armor stands works well as a display room for your hall or longhouse.
Setting up the stands
1. Craft or collect one armor stand for each set you want to show. You can display leather, chainmail, iron, copper, gold, diamond and netherite.
2. Place the stands in a line with enough space between them that each outfit is easy to see.
3. Right-click a stand while holding an armor piece to equip it. Fill the helmet, chestplate, leggings and boots slots so each set is complete.
Arranging for contrast
These pairings make the differences between sets stand out:
- Iron next to copper: Copper uses the same lamellar design as iron, but it looks corroded and rusted. Side by side, they read as the same armor in new and weathered condition.
- Leather, gold and netherite together: You get practical wilderness gear, ceremonial ritual wear and a fierce raider outfit in one row.
- Chainmail beside diamond: You can compare the realistic metal links with diamond's mail face covering and chest drape.
Put the helmets at eye level and add good lighting so the details are visible. The iron helmet's side chainmail and the diamond set's face mail are easiest to appreciate up close.
