Check Your Resource Pack is Active
If your Totem of Undying still looks like the default texture, the resource pack may not be loaded correctly.
1. Open your pause menu and go to Options → Resource Packs
2. Look for "Totem Cross Resource Pack" in the Active section on the right
3. If it's in the Inactive section on the left, click it and select the arrow to move it to Active
4. Click Done and return to your world
Confirm the Change
Hold a Totem of Undying in your hand or place it in an item frame. You should now see a cross symbol instead of the default totem design. The texture change applies immediately without requiring a world restart.
If you still don't see the cross, try these steps:
- Close and reopen your game completely
- Ensure the resource pack is positioned above any conflicting packs in the active list
- Check that you're using a compatible Minecraft version for the pack
