Understand the Texture Variants

StriderZ includes multiple custom appearances for striders depending on their type and location:

• Adult Zombified Strider: The standard rotting form that appears when any adult strider enters the Overworld
• Baby Zombified Strider: A smaller, undead version of baby striders
• Cold Strider: A variant with a frozen, icy appearance
• Skeleton Strider: A rare form showing only bare bones—this is the most dramatic visual transformation

Find Each Variant

Most variants appear naturally when striders cross from the Nether to the Overworld. The skeleton strider is rarer, so you may need to bring multiple striders to the surface to encounter one. Baby striders will show their own zombified skin when brought to the Overworld alongside adults. If you're using animation mods like Fresh Animations, these variants will move and behave with enhanced undead animations, making the transformation even more immersive.
