Spotting the Waxed Copper Marker

Waxed copper blocks look identical to regular copper blocks when placed in your world, making it easy to mix them up. This resource pack adds a small star icon to waxed copper items so you can tell them apart at a glance.

How to Use This Feature

1. Open your inventory or any storage container

2. Look for copper blocks with a tiny star badge on their item icon

3. Blocks with the star will never oxidize or change color over time

4. Blocks without the star will gradually weather through the oxidation stages

When you place these blocks in your world, the star disappears—the blocks look completely normal. The badge only appears in inventory screens, so your builds stay visually clean while you're working with materials.

This is especially useful when you're building with a mix of waxed and unwaxed copper, or when you're deciding whether to wax a copper block before placing it.
