Distinguish Between Infested and Regular Stone Blocks
Spotting Infested Stone Before Building
Infested stone blocks look exactly like regular stone when placed, but break to release silverfish when mined. This resource pack adds a small silverfish badge to infested blocks so you can identify them in your inventory.
How to Use This Feature
1. Open your inventory after collecting stone blocks
2. Look for blocks with a tiny silverfish icon badge
3. Blocks with the badge are infested—mining them will spawn silverfish
4. Blocks without the badge are safe to use in construction
5. The badge disappears when blocks are placed in your world
This is crucial when you're gathering stone from strongholds, mountains, or other structures where infested blocks spawn naturally. You can sort them out before they cause problems in your builds, or keep them separate if you're intentionally farming silverfish.
