Seasonal Trees Resource Pack FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I start seeing the seasonal colors after installing this pack?
Once the pack is activated in your resource packs menu, tree leaves will begin their color cycle automatically—you don't need to do anything. The colors will shift through green, red, orange, yellow, and white over time as you play, with each season lasting between 7 and 9 minutes.
Can I control when the seasons change or speed them up?
The seasonal cycle runs on a fixed timer and changes automatically; you cannot manually control the timing or speed up the transitions. If you want to see a specific season's colors, you'll need to wait for the cycle to reach that point naturally.
Do the seasonal colors work on multiplayer servers?
Yes, the pack works perfectly on both single-player worlds and multiplayer servers. All players who have the resource pack installed will see the same seasonal colors at the same time.
Why aren't my tree leaves changing color?
Make sure the SEASONAL TREES Resource Pack is enabled and ranked above any conflicting packs in your resource pack list. If you're using other tree or leaf texture packs, they may be overriding these textures—try disabling them or reordering your packs so SEASONAL TREES is on top.
Does this pack work with shaders?
Yes, the pack is designed to work well with shaders and will look even better with them enabled, as shaders enhance the lighting and shadows on the seasonal leaf colors. Test your favorite shader to see how the colors look together.
Will this pack slow down my game?
No, the pack uses simple and colorful textures that are optimized to run smoothly without impacting performance. You should see no noticeable FPS drops from using it.
Does this pack change anything besides tree leaves?
Yes, it updates many blocks and elements including all tree types, plants, underwater plants, sand, planks, ores, doors, the sun and moon, sky appearance, rain and snow effects, particles, and GUI menus. It's a comprehensive visual overhaul, not just leaves.
Can I use this pack with other resource packs?
Yes, you can stack it with other packs, but if another pack also modifies leaves, trees, or other overlapping textures, you'll need to order them carefully in your resource pack list—put SEASONAL TREES above any conflicting packs so its textures take priority.
Do the seasonal colors match real-world seasons or follow Minecraft's day/night cycle?
The colors follow a fixed seasonal cycle independent of Minecraft's day/night cycle or real-world time. Each of the five seasons lasts between 7 and 9 minutes of gameplay, then transitions to the next color automatically.
What should I do if seasonal colors look wrong or glitchy?
Try reordering your resource packs so SEASONAL TREES is at the top of the list, disable any other leaf or tree texture packs temporarily, and make sure your game is fully reloaded. If problems persist, check that you're using a compatible version of the pack for your Minecraft version.
