Turn On the Rounded Shield Model

Remo's Shield Resource Pack swaps the boxy vanilla shield for a smooth, rounded design. Like any resource pack, it only takes effect once you activate it in the game.

Put the pack in place

1. From the main menu, open Options, then Resource Packs.

2. Click Open Pack Folder to open your resourcepacks folder.

3. Drop the pack file into that folder. Leave it as a zip if possible. If you extracted it, the folder you add must contain pack.mcmeta directly, not tucked inside another folder.

4. Switch back to the game. The pack should now appear in the Available list.

Activate it

1. Hover over the shield pack and click the arrow to move it into the Selected column.

2. If you also use other packs, drag this one above any pack that changes the shield. Packs higher in the list override the ones below.

4. Load a world and get a shield. You can craft one from planks and an iron ingot, or take one from the Creative inventory.

5. Equip the shield in your off-hand. You should see the rounded design instead of the flat, rectangular vanilla model.

If the shield still looks boxy, open the Resource Packs screen again. Confirm the pack is in Selected and that nothing above it also changes shields.
