Set Up Snowy Leaves in a Cold Biome
Install and Enable the Pack
This resource pack works best when placed in your resourcepacks folder alongside Fusion (the connected textures mod). Load the pack in your resource pack menu and ensure it ranks above any conflicting packs.
Verify Snow Appears on Trees
Travel to a cold biome—spruce forests, snowy taigas, and frozen peaks all support snowy leaf textures. Once you're in the right biome, snow should begin settling on bushy leaf blocks during snowfall or when you place snow layers manually.
If trees look bare or textures appear blocky, check that:
- Fusion is installed and active
- The resource pack is enabled and positioned above conflicting packs
- You're in a cold biome (the pack only applies snow textures in appropriate biomes)
Adjust Pack Settings
Open the pack settings menu. If you want thicker, more immersive snow coverage, enable the Snow Side Texture option. This pairs the snowy leaves with enhanced side textures for a cohesive winter look.
Snow will now layer naturally on your trees as weather changes, creating a fluffy, realistic canopy throughout winter.
