What Hafen Adds

Hafen is a small, single-purpose mod that expands Minecraft's vanilla building palette. Rather than introducing new mechanics, it fills in gaps by extending existing wood types and decorative families with matching variants. If you have ever wanted a shelf, hanging sign, or boat-with-chest for a wood type that lacked one, this is the kind of content Hafen provides.

The mod's content falls into three broad groups. The first is wood variants: doors, signs, hanging signs, trapdoors, shelves, boats, and boats with chests for woods such as acacia and bamboo. The second is decorative and natural blocks, including plants, pottery sherds, and spawn eggs. The third is a set of vanilla-style blocks that round out existing families.

Because everything is designed to match vanilla aesthetics, Hafen fits naturally into survival worlds and creative builds alike. You do not need to learn new systems or craft special machines. Place the blocks, use the items, and they behave the way their vanilla counterparts do.
