Understanding texture quality issues

Older modded content often uses low-resolution or inconsistent artwork. Blurry textures happen when 16x or 8x art is stretched to fill your screen, especially noticeable on large machines or detailed blocks. Faithful 32x Modded redraws these at native 32x resolution, eliminating blur and visual inconsistency.

Applying the fix

1. Identify which mods contain the blurry textures (common culprits: older versions of Applied Energistics 2, Tinkers Construct, Botania)

2. Confirm those mods are in the Faithful 32x Modded support list

3. Install and activate the pack

4. Reload your world or use F3+T to refresh textures in-game

5. Look at the same blocks or machines—they should now appear sharp and detailed

If textures still look wrong

Check your Video Settings: ensure Mipmap Levels is set to 0 or 1 (higher values blur textures). Also verify you're using the correct Minecraft version—the pack targets specific versions where mod support is strongest.
