Why Your Mobs Look Out of Place

When you install Friends and Foes without this resource pack, custom mobs like the Crab, Glare, and Wildfire use bright, vanilla-style textures that clash with Excalibur's dark medieval aesthetic. Your world feels visually fragmented.

How to Unify Your World

1. Install the resource pack into your resourcepacks folder alongside Excalibur

2. Load your world and open Settings → Resource Packs

3. Activate both packs in this order:

  • Excalibur (bottom of active list)
  • Excalibur Friends and Foes Support (above Excalibur)

4. Confirm the changes by looking at any Friends and Foes mob—textures should now match the rustic, detailed medieval style

What Changes

All mob textures (Crab, Iceologer, Beekeeper, Wildfire, Rascal, Glare) receive hand-crafted medieval reskins. Block and item textures also update to blend seamlessly into stone castles, wooden villages, and dark caves. GUI elements and menus adopt the same cohesive theme.

Your world now maintains visual consistency whether you're fighting a Wildfire or trading with a Beekeeper villager.
