Do I need to do anything special to start using this mod?
No—just install it and your tree saplings will automatically become seeds in your inventory and world. All the normal tree growth mechanics work exactly the same way.
How do I tell which seed grows into which tree?
Each tree type has its own unique seed design (like acorns for oak, pinecones for spruce). Check the guide "Identifying Different Tree Seeds in Your Inventory" to see what each one looks like.
Do seeds grow into trees the same way saplings did?
Yes, completely—planting, growth time, light requirements, and final tree size are all identical to vanilla. The only difference is the appearance of what you plant.
What's the difference between regular Azalea seeds and the other variant?
The mod updates both Azalea and Flowering Azalea to match the new seed style, and adds a pale seed variant for specific wood types. See "Understanding Azalea Seeds and Their Variants" for details on which is which.
Can I use these seeds in a tree farm like I used saplings?

Will this mod work on a multiplayer server?
This is a resource pack mod, so it only changes textures and appearance on the client side—it works fine on servers, but only players with the mod installed will see the seed textures.
Do I lose any saplings when I install this mod?
No—any saplings already in your world or inventory are simply converted to their seed equivalents with no loss of functionality or items.
Can I plant seeds in the same way I planted saplings?
