Why Textures Might Look Wrong

Missing textures appear as purple-and-black checkerboards. Incorrect textures mean the pack didn't apply properly or you've deleted essential folders.

Fixing Missing Textures

1. Verify the pack is active: Go to Options > Resource Packs and ensure Comprogrammer is in the active list, positioned above Default

2. Reload resources: Press F3 + T (or go to Resource Packs > Reload)

3. Check mod compatibility: Ensure all mods the pack supports are actually installed

4. Restore deleted folders: If you removed mod texture folders, restore them from a backup

If Textures Still Look Wrong

  • Confirm you're using a compatible Minecraft version
  • Check for conflicting resource packs—disable others temporarily
  • Verify the pack file isn't corrupted by re-extracting it
  • Some mods receive partial coverage; not every block or item may be retextured

Performance Issues

If the pack causes lag, try removing large mod texture folders as described in the size reduction guide. Fewer textures = faster loading.
