Clean Stained Glass Resource Pack FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

Do I need Optifine or Continuity to use this pack?
No. Clean Stained Glass Resource Pack works completely on its own without any additional mods or tools. Just load it like any other resource pack and the textures will apply immediately.
Why do my stained glass blocks still have spots and lines?
Make sure the pack is actually loaded in your world. Check your resource pack list in the pause menu—Clean Stained Glass should appear in the active list on the right side. If it's in the inactive list on the left, drag it to the right to enable it.
Does this pack change regular glass or tinted glass?
No. The pack only modifies stained glass blocks. Plain glass and tinted glass keep their original appearance.
Can I use this pack with other resource packs?
Yes, but pack order matters. Place Clean Stained Glass higher in your resource pack list (closer to the top) if you want its textures to override other packs, or lower if you want other packs to override it.
Will this pack work on a multiplayer server?
Yes. Resource packs are client-side only, so you can use it on any server without the server needing to install or approve it.
What stained glass colors does this pack cover?
The pack cleans up all stained glass block colors and their corresponding panes, removing spots and border lines from every variant.
Does this pack affect performance?
No. It's a simple texture replacement with no special rendering requirements, so it won't impact your FPS or cause lag.
Can I use this with shaders?
Yes. Since the pack doesn't require Optifine or special rendering features, it works alongside any shader mod you're using.
How do I know if the pack is actually working?
Place some stained glass blocks in your world and compare them to the screenshots on the wiki. Clean stained glass should appear smooth and clear without visible spots or thick border lines between panes.
Does this pack work on older Minecraft versions?
The pack is designed for the version listed on the wiki download page. If you're using a different version, check the download links to see if a compatible version exists for your game version.
