Understanding Weapon Movesets

Beyond Epic Fight WEAPON Compat assigns animations based on weapon type and mod origin. When you equip a modded blade, polearm, or hammer, the resource pack automatically applies the matching moveset—you don't need to configure anything manually.

How to See Your Weapon's Animation

1. Equip a modded weapon from a supported mod (Aether, Botania, Ice and Fire, etc.)

2. Enter combat or practice swings in a safe area

3. Watch your character's attack motion—it will follow one of the included styles: dualwield, greatsword, polearm, hammer, or ultra-heavy

4. Different weapons from the same mod may use different movesets depending on their in-game classification

If Your Weapon Looks Wrong

Make sure the resource pack is loaded *after* any conflicting animation packs in your load order. Check that Epic Fight itself is installed and working. If a specific weapon still uses vanilla animations, it may not be included in this pack's compatibility list—check the mod's documentation or community forums to confirm support.
