Install Better Glass Edges and verify it's working

Check your installation

Better Glass Edges is a resource pack, not a mod. It modifies only textures and visual appearance, so it works on any Minecraft version that supports resource packs.

1. Open Minecraft and go to Options → Resource Packs

2. Click Open Pack Folder to see where resource packs are stored

3. Place the Better Glass Edges pack file into this folder

4. Return to the Resource Packs menu and look for Better Glass Edges in the Available list

5. Click the arrow to move it to Selected

6. Close the menu and load a world

Confirm the changes

Place a glass block and look through it. You should see a clear center without dark borders around the edges. Compare it to how glass looked before—the difference is most obvious when looking at multiple glass blocks in a grid pattern, like a window or greenhouse wall. If borders are still visible, make sure the pack is above vanilla textures in your Selected list.
