Getting Started with Alacrity

What Alacrity Adds

Alacrity is a small decorative and utility mod that expands several areas of vanilla building and equipment without overhauling the game. Its additions fall into a few clear groups.

Building blocks. The mod adds decorative shelves in multiple wood types, including acacia, bamboo, birch, cherry, crimson, and more. Stained glass variants appear in colors like black, blue, and brown. Copper building variants are also included, such as copper doors, copper trapdoors, and copper chains.

Equipment. Armor sets are expanded with chainmail, copper, and diamond pieces covering helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots. Copper armor in particular gives the metal a new use beyond blocks and wires.

Utility items. Bundles return in several colors, alongside items like bottles o' enchanting, dragon's breath, ender pearls, and eyes of ender.

Because the mod is single-purpose, most additions slot naturally into existing vanilla recipes and building habits rather than introducing new systems.
