Get the files on 9Minecraft
If you installed Aimz but still see the vanilla crosshair, the cause is almost always pack order, a wrong file location, or a conflicting pack. Work through these checks in order.
Quick Checks
1. Confirm the file is in the resourcepacks folder and is still a .zip — unzipping it breaks recognition.
2. Open Options > Resource Packs and verify Aimz appears in the *Selected* column, not just *Available*.
3. Make sure Aimz is positioned above any other pack that changes the crosshair.
4. Check that the pack is compatible with your Minecraft version; a pack built for a very different version may not load its textures.
Deeper Fixes
- If Aimz does not appear in the list at all, the zip may be nested (a folder inside a folder). Re-download or restructure so the pack's root contains its
pack.mcmetaandassetsfolder. - If a server pack keeps overriding it, reorder after joining, or accept that a *Required* server pack takes priority.
- Try disabling all other packs except Aimz to isolate the conflict, then re-enable them one at a time.
Once the crosshair shows, your aim visuals are set — no further configuration is needed.
