Prevent Players from Wearing Restricted Armor
Identify the armor piece
Determine the Minecraft ID of the armor you want to lock. This could be a helmet, chestplate, leggings, or boots—including both standard and specialized armor types.
Disable the armor
Run this command as an operator:
`
/itemdisabled disable <item> -1
`
Use -1 to lock the armor permanently, or specify a duration in seconds for a temporary restriction.
How the restriction works
When a player tries to equip locked armor, the plugin automatically pushes it back into their normal inventory instead of allowing it into their armor slots. Players will receive an alert message whenever they attempt to wear the restricted armor.
Apply to specific players
To restrict armor for only certain players:
`
/itemdisabled disable <item> -1 <player_name>
`
Re-enable the armor
When you want players to wear the armor again:
`
/itemdisabled enable <item> <player_name>
`
Omit the player name to restore it server-wide. The armor will then equip normally.
