Protect Your Builds While Using Tree Feller
Why Placed Wood Blocks Are Safe
Tree Feller only harvests naturally generated logs from trees. Any wood blocks you've placed yourself—for buildings, decorations, or structures—are completely ignored and won't be chopped down.
How This Works
1. When you use Tree Feller (Shift + click a log with an axe), the mod checks which logs are part of the natural tree
2. Manually placed logs in your builds are skipped automatically
3. Only the connected natural tree logs are harvested
Building Near Trees
- You can safely chop trees next to your wooden structures without worry
- Wooden roofs, walls, and decorations stay intact
- This applies to all wood types: oak, spruce, birch, jungle, acacia, dark oak, and others
What Counts as "Placed"
Any log block you put there yourself is protected. The mod distinguishes between trees growing naturally in the world and wood you've built with, so your creations remain safe even during aggressive harvesting.
