Choose and Apply a Shader Pack
Access the Shader Menu
Open your Video Settings from the main pause menu. Look for the Shaders option—this modpack integrates shader selection directly into standard graphics settings, so you won't need to hunt through separate folders.
Browse and Select
You'll see a list of over 300 available shader packs. Each one transforms lighting, shadows, water, and overall atmosphere differently. Scroll through the options to preview shader names and descriptions. Some focus on realism with ray tracing effects, while others emphasize performance or artistic styles.
Apply and Test
Click on a shader to apply it immediately. Your world will reload with the new visual style. Walk around nearby terrain—biomes, water, and sky will show the most dramatic changes. If the shader feels too heavy on performance, check your FPS counter in the top corner and try a lighter option.
Fine-Tune Settings
Many shaders include their own configuration options. Look for a Settings button next to the shader name to adjust shadow quality, reflection intensity, or other effects. This lets you balance visual quality against frame rate without changing shaders entirely.
