The Basic Action

With a Veinmine enchanted tool in hand, break a block that belongs to a valid vein. The mod detects connected blocks of the same type and breaks them together, dropping the items as usual. You do not press a special key by default; the enchantment triggers on the normal break action.

What Counts as a Vein

A vein is a group of matching blocks touching each other. Ore veins, logs in a tree, and similar clusters are typical targets. The exact set of allowed blocks and the maximum size of a vein are controlled by the main Veinminer mod's configuration, not by this addon. If a block does not veinmine, it is usually because the main mod does not list it as veinmineable or the vein exceeds the size limit.

Why Nothing Happens

If breaking a block only removes that one block, check three things: the tool actually has the Veinmine enchantment in its tooltip, the block is a supported vein type, and the vein is within the allowed size. A tool without the enchantment will never veinmine, even if the main mod is installed.

Managing Drops

Large veins produce many drops at once. Bring enough inventory space or a way to store items, otherwise drops may be left on the ground.
