Speed up tree growth by leaving saplings unloaded

The mechanic

Saplings are on the mod's supported list, meaning they'll progress through their growth stages even when out of simulation distance. This lets you grow trees faster without standing around.

How to do it

1. Plant saplings in your designated tree farm (any sapling type works).

2. Leave the area and travel far enough to unload the chunks containing your saplings.

3.

4. Return to your farm and the mod will apply all the growth at once.

5. Harvest the trees that have grown.

Optimization

• Plant multiple saplings together to maximize your yield when you return.
• Combine this with your AFK crop farm—both can progress simultaneously in different locations.
• Leaves decay naturally once trees are fully grown, so you can harvest wood efficiently.
• This also works for bushes, which grow similarly to saplings.
