Where Silt Generates

Silt appears in several color variants: Black Silt, Blue Silt, Brown Silt, Cyan Silt, Gray Silt, Green Silt, Light Blue Silt, Light Gray Silt, Lime Silt, Magenta Silt, and more. Each variant also has a Packed Silt block. Look for silt in cave and underground deposits where you would normally find clay or gravel. Once you have a stack, you can craft a Silt Pot from any silt color.

Turning Silt Into Building Blocks

Silt is the base material for a full building palette. From a single silt color you can produce:

Use a stonecutter to convert silt into shingles efficiently, then cut shingles into slabs, stairs, and walls. Packed Silt variants are also available for each color if you want a solid, flat-textured block instead of shingles.

Mixing Colors

Because each color has its own shingle set, you can combine two or three silt colors in one build for banded roofs, patterned floors, or gradient walls. Silt Pots work as small decorative planters that match the shingle color. Keep a stonecutter near your silt stockpile so you can swap between shingles, slabs, stairs, and walls without leaving the build site.
