What This Mod Does

Tom's Storage can slow the game down once your base grows large. Storage terminals scan connected chests constantly, and on big multiplayer servers where several players open storage screens at once, that scanning causes stutter and lag.

This mod patches those lag problems. Instead of rescanning the whole network on a timer, the system only updates when items actually change inside it. Terminals open and search faster, and background updates run quicker so the game stutters less.

It is built for large networks holding thousands of items and for servers with many players using storage blocks simultaneously. Nothing about how you build or use your storage changes; the mod only changes how often the system checks for updates.

If you run a big base or a busy server, this keeps storage responsive without altering your existing setup.
