Crafting the Overworld Cake
The
Overworld Cake is a crafted block that sends you back to the Overworld when used. It is produced with a shaped
crafting recipe at a crafting table. Collect the Overworld-themed ingredients the recipe calls for and arrange them in the exact shaped pattern shown in your recipe viewer to craft the Overworld Cake block.
Using the Overworld Cake
Place the Overworld Cake down and right-click it to travel to the Overworld. This is the cake you want on hand when you are stuck in another dimension and need a way back. Each right-click consumes a slice, so one Overworld Cake supports multiple return trips before it is used up.
Practical Tips
- Carry an Overworld Cake with you into the End or the Nether so you always have a return option.
- Place one at a forward base in another dimension so you can hop back to the Overworld quickly.
- Restock ingredients near your crafting area so you can replace a spent Overworld Cake without a long trip.
