Exploring Mining Skills
The Mining tab features two separate skill clusters that boost your gathering speed and resource collection efficiency underground. These skills help you mine faster and gather more valuable materials.
Developing Your Mining Build
1. Press K and select the Mining tab to view available skills
2. Identify the two main skill clusters and decide which resonates with your mining goals
3. Invest points into one cluster first to unlock deeper, more powerful perks
4. Read each node's description — some skills may boost specific ore types or reduce tool durability
5. Once you've established one cluster, consider branching into the second for hybrid benefits
Mining Strategy
- Focus on speed-boosting skills early to gather resources faster
- Look for perks that enhance efficiency or yield from mining activities
- Some skills may synergize with specific tools or mining techniques
- Balance your mining build with basic Combat skills for safety when exploring deep caves
- Use the Reset tab to pivot your strategy if you discover new mining opportunities
