Customize Cloud Height, Width, Thickness and Density
Super Fancy Clouds Refabricated lets you reshape the sky to suit your build or play style. You can adjust cloud height, width, thickness, overall density and biome settings from the mod's in-game config menu.
Opening the Settings
1. Load into a world so you can see the clouds update as you change things.
2. Open the mod's in-game config menu.
3. Look for the sections covering cloud height, size and density, plus the biome settings.
Tuning the Look
- Height: Raise the clouds if your mountain base or sky build keeps running into them. Lower them for a moodier, closer sky.
- Width: Wider clouds give big rolling formations. Narrower clouds give a broken, patchy sky.
- Thickness: Thicker clouds look taller and more volumetric. They also show the darker undersides that appear when clouds grow thick and stormy.
- Density: Raise it for an overcast sky. Lower it for scattered clouds with plenty of open blue.
- Biome settings: The mod places clouds chunk by chunk to suit each biome. Adjust these settings if some areas look too crowded or too empty.
Tips
- Change one setting at a time and look up at the sky before you change the next.
- Weather also changes cloud thickness. Check your settings in both clear weather and rain before you settle on them.
- On a dedicated server running the mod, cloud shapes are synced for everyone. Use
/sfcr helpto see which controls the server manages.
