Which Gate Designs Need Create, Mekanism, Ad Astra, AE2 or Deeper and Darker

Several designs use crafting ingredients from other mods. Check this list before you set your heart on one, so you don't end up chasing items your pack doesn't have.

Designs Tied to Other Mods

Mekanism

• Apex (Milky Way): requires Mekanism components.
• Quantum (Pegasus): an advanced particle frame requiring Mekanism tech.

Ad Astra

• Jumpgate (Milky Way): a deep space frame built with Ad Astra materials.
• Streamline (Pegasus): a smooth aerodynamic shell made with Ad Astra alloys.

Applied Energistics 2

• Retrogate (Pegasus): a retro computer theme made with AE2 parts.
• Spatial (Pegasus): a digital storage frame using AE2 crystals.

Deeper and Darker

• Silence (Milky Way): a sculk-covered portal requiring Deeper and Darker items.

Create

• Create (Milky Way): a brass-and-cogwheel style.
• Create (Universe gate): a kinetic, gear-driven design.
• Both are themed after Create. Check JEI to confirm which Create parts each recipe uses.

How to Check Your Pack

1. Open JEI and search for the design's crystal.

2. If a recipe appears, hover over each ingredient. JEI shows which mod every item comes from.

3. If you can't find a recipe, the companion mod is likely not installed. Pick a different design.
