Set Up File Syncing With Your Friend Group

Connect to a Sync Source

To start sharing game files with friends, you need to connect to a sync source—either one your friend has created or a community setup.

1. Open the mod menu from your game screen or settings

2. Look for the sync connection option

3. Enter the sync source details your friend provides (this might be a code, address, or identifier)

4. Confirm the connection

Once connected, the mod will automatically:

• Scan your game files against the group's setup
• Identify any missing mods, resource packs, or shaders
• Begin downloading missing content in the background

You can continue playing or close the game while downloads happen. Check the progress screen to monitor the download status. When all files finish downloading, you'll see a restart notification. Save your world and restart your game to apply the new files.

After restart, your game setup will match everyone else in the sync group.
