Locating Tailor Villagers

Tailor villagers are special NPCs that spawn in villages or can be created by converting unemployed villagers. They specialize in selling wool clothing items in various random colors.

Trading with Tailors

1. Locate a Tailor villager in a village or create one by placing a Sewing Station near an unemployed villager

2. Interact with the Tailor to open their trade menu

3. The Tailor offers wool clothing in randomized colors

4. Trade emeralds for wool clothing items of your choice

Getting Specific Colors

Since Tailor villagers offer random colors, you may need to interact with multiple Tailors to find your desired color. Each Tailor has their own inventory of colored items. Building a trading hall with several Tailors increases your chances of finding specific colors quickly.

Note

Wool clothing is purely cosmetic and decorative—it provides no armor protection but allows for creative fashion builds.
