Each season shifts the
effective temperature of the biomes around you.
- In colder seasons, warm biomes can cool down enough to see rain turn to snow, and snow layers begin to build up.
- In warmer seasons, temperatures rise again, snow and ice melt, and rain returns to normal.
This means a biome that never normally sees snow can pick up a light dusting in the depth of winter, and frozen areas can thaw as summer approaches.
