Rewards Are Vanilla-Compatible

A key feature of this mod is that it does not add new items or blocks with custom IDs. Instead it reuses existing vanilla capabilities — custom player head textures stand in for new blocks, and a custom renderer changes entity sizes. That means anything you earn during the quest is built from vanilla resources, so it keeps working even without the mod.

Removing the Mod Safely

Once you have finished the questline, you can remove the mod from your setup. Because the content is vanilla-based, your rewards remain in your world and stay usable. Before removing it, make sure the quest is actually complete — pulling the mod mid-quest can leave you unable to finish, since the trigger logic lives in the mod. Finish the final boss first, then remove it.

Practical Tips

Store your quest rewards somewhere safe before changing your mod list, and take a backup of the world. If a reward is a placed block using a custom head texture, it will still render as that head after removal. If you are unsure whether a specific step is done, complete the whole line to the boss before touching your mods folder.
