How to Turn a Pig into a Flying Bomb with TNT

If you hold TNT in your offhand when you launch a pig, it becomes a flying bomb. It explodes like a creeper when it hits the ground and breaks nearby blocks.

Setting Up Your Hands

1. Put a firework rocket in your main hand.

2. Put a block of TNT in your offhand. You can drag it into the offhand slot in your inventory screen, or select it on your hotbar and press the swap-offhand key (F by default).

3. Check your offhand slot on screen to confirm the TNT is really there before you swing.

Launching the Bomb

1. Approach a pig and attack it with the firework rocket.

2. The pig launches straight up into the sky.

3. When it comes back down, it explodes on impact, destroying blocks around the spot where it lands.

4. Stay well away from the landing area. Treat the explosion like a creeper blast.

Things to Keep in Mind

• The pig goes up, so the explosion happens roughly where it comes back down. Launch it from the spot you want to blow up, not from next to your house.
• Use the plain launch with no TNT when you want cooked porkchops. Use the TNT version for chaos and demolition.
• Make sure no pets, villagers or friends are standing near the landing zone.
