OpenBlocks Elevator Mod FAQ

Elevators are made with both shaped and shapeless crafting recipes; check your recipe book or a crafting table to see the exact layout for the color you want.

There are 16 Elevator blocks, one for each dye color: White, Orange, Magenta, Light Blue, Yellow, Lime, Pink, Gray, Light Gray, Cyan, Purple, Blue, Brown, Green, Red, and Black.

Place Elevator blocks in a vertical column and jump while standing on one to move up to the next Elevator block above you.

Stand on an Elevator block and sneak to descend to the next Elevator block below you in the column.

Elevators work as a vertical column; placing them one above another lets you travel between the nearest Elevator blocks in that column.

Yes, all 16 colored Elevator blocks function the same way, so you can place different colors in the same vertical column.

Jumping only moves you if there is another Elevator block above in the column; otherwise you will not be teleported upward.

Sneaking only moves you down if there is another Elevator block below in the column; otherwise you will not be teleported downward.

Yes, the mod includes shapeless crafting recipes for Elevator blocks in addition to shaped recipes.

Yes, the mod registers 16 Elevator blocks covering all standard dye colors from White through Black.
