Opening the Profiler

Press R (default hotkey) while in-game to open the Observable Mod interface. You'll see the profiler GUI with several options available.

Recording Gameplay

1. Click the Profile TPS button to begin recording

2. Play normally for up to 30 seconds—the mod will track all server-side processes during this time

3. Return to the profiler GUI and click Profile TPS again to stop recording

Viewing Results

Once recording ends, click the Results button. Multiple windows will open showing:

  • Entities and Mobs: Lists which creatures are consuming the most server resources
  • Block Processes: Shows laggy block activity like flowing water or redstone
  • Chunk Information: Displays coordinates of chunks with the highest TPS impact

Each result is ranked by performance impact, so the top entries are your biggest lag sources. Use this data to decide which areas or mobs to investigate further or remove from your world.
